The Documentary Wedding Experience is a story-driven wedding film designed to feel like a documentary—structured with the energy and pacing of a reality TV episode. It’s honest, immersive, and built entirely around real voices and real moments. No scripts. No performances. Just the truth of the day as it unfolds.
What We Capture (That Others Don’t)
Traditional wedding films focus on visuals. We focus on memory.
We record the moments that usually disappear:

Key people are mic’d so we can capture genuine dialogue and reactions as they happen. We ask thoughtful questions. We follow the energy. We lean into the moments that feel human, imperfect, and real—because those are the ones you’ll want to revisit years from now.
A Film You Don’t Just Watch — You Re-Experience
Your final film (approximately 22 minutes) is edited as a complete narrative. Interviews with parents, friends, and loved ones are woven together with candid footage from the day to create something deeply personal and endlessly rewatchable.
This isn’t a film you return to just to remember how beautiful the venue was. It’s one you revisit because it puts you right back there—hearing the voices, feeling the emotion, reliving the day as it actually felt.

Green Lens Productions has years of experience creating traditional wedding films (which you can view here ). The Documentary Wedding Experience is a newer, passion-driven direction—born from our love of filmmaking, storytelling, and capturing moments that matter.
To mark the beginning of this offering, we’re extending discounted rates to a limited number of couples who feel this approach aligns with their story and want to help shape what this experience becomes.

We have been doing this long enough to know that the happy couple will have very few spare moments on their wedding day to step out into the interview chair.
Because we want to capture the story of you from you, we offer a more intimate interview in your own space on your own time. Sit back, relax and open your heart, and we will take care of the rest.
This footage can be interwoven into the final film or used as a standalone video to show at your reception.
